Boys 9th-11th Grade:
Athletes must be in the 9th, 10th or 11th grade and under the age of 19
Girls 9th-12th Grade: Athletes must be in the 9th,
10th, 11th or 12th grade and under the age of 19.
The number of 12th graders that can be selected for
a Girls' final team will be limited to a TOTAL of 5 per
team, regardless of school. There is no limit to the
number that can tryout.
*All ages are as of June 1, 2012, and all grades are
as of the 2011-2012 academic year.
ENTRY FEE
Tryout fee: $50
Finalist fee: $200 Girls / $250 Boys
(For those who make final roster)
FEATURES
• In addition to tryouts, final teams are allotted a minimum
of 5 hours of practice time
• All teams play a minimum of 5 games with three 20
minute stop-time periods
• All games officiated by NIHOA officials
• All participants receive Summer Games T-shirt
• All finalists will receive a team jersey and Bay State
Games jacket
• Bay State Games medals are awarded to the top 3
teams in each division
TRYOUTS
• A minimum of 3 tryouts will be held in June
• Athletes must participate in a minimum of 2 tryouts
to be considered for the Bay State Games team
• Dates, times, locations and coach information will
be posted on the Summer Games website by April 1
ENTRY DEADLINES
Players may sign up at the first tryout in June, however,
pre-registration online or via mail is preferred
